Wood Lathe work in San Antonio

Retired/Disabled US Army Signal Corps Soldier who took a career path change. From the IT communications field to creating bespoke pens, bowls, boxes and other keepsakes.

A majority of my materials are locally sourced from friends or neighbors. When trees fall from storm or age, I will harvest and allow to dry naturally (2 years approx.) after which I create the products you see on the site.

Some of the south Texas wood I use (but not limited to)

  • Mesquite

  • Hackberry

  • Ash

  • Cottonwood

  • Pecan

  • Cedar

  • Bios D’ Arc (Osage orange)

  • A variety of Oak.

  • Walnut

I also pour and color my own Acrylics in attempt to keep as much of the process “in-house” as possible.

The image features two contrasting scenes, with the top half showing a military command center with multiple monitors displaying world maps and operational data, and soldiers working at their stations. The bottom half depicts a woodworking workshop with tools and a lathe machine, labeled as "Master Woodworker."

What can I make for you?

Please submit a ticket explaining what you would like to have made. I make a variety of items, but please remember, my focus is primary on smaller items (pens, bowls, boxes), however I would love to hear from ya either way!
